Dear BlackMax Team,

I am a student at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt
a.Main (Germany). Currently I'm working on my bachelor thesis which is
about comparing the event generator Charybdis with another generator.
I am quite new to linux. Although I managed to get a version of
Charybdis(1003) working.

But i got some problems on doing so with BlackMax. My status so far is:
- Got BlackMax-2.01.1 from HepForge
- Got LHAPDF 5.7.0
- Got a library of Pythia-6.4.19

Both the libraries of LHAPDF and Pythia are stored in /usr/lib and the
paths in the makefile of BlackMax are changed to these locations. I'm
able to create a BlackMax executable with "make all".
Although trying to run this I get the following error:
  ==============================================
  PDFset name /usr/share/lhapdf/PDFsets/cteq6mE.LHgrid
  with         40 members
  ====  initialized. ===========================
  Strong coupling at Mz for PDF is: 0.11798

             InitLHA: Error!
       Please check PDF set number!
            PDF set =        10050

Changing through the available PDFsets i still occur this error with
the corresponding set-number.
I also tried the EXPORT commands given in the readme with adapted paths.
The executable from "make BlackMaxOnly" is working.

I hope you have some idea how to solve this problem.

Sincerely yours,
Thomas Schönenbach
