[GiBUU-announce] GiBUU v2023, patch 1Kai Gallmeister kai.gallmeister at theo.physik.uni-giessen.deFri Dec 8 16:21:07 GMT 2023
Dear friends of GiBUU, we would like to inform you, that a new patch of the latest GiBUU release (v2023) is available on our homepage. Some small, minor bug fixes have been made. The main change is an adjustment of the electron-/neutrino-nucleon machinery to get a better description of pion production events; inclusive cross sections are hardly affected. Please note: All your old jobcards will not run anymore! This is on purpose with this patch! In the 2023 release, some parameters have to be adjusted compared to the former versions of GiBUU. This lead to a lot of confusion and false results by the users. In order to ensure that your jobcard is really meant to be run with the 2023 version, you have to give explicitly the line "version = 2023" in the namelist '&input'. Best regards, Kai Gallmeister, on behalf of the GiBUU team -- Kai Gallmeister Institut für Theoretische Physik Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen Heinrich-Buff-Ring 16 35392 Gießen phone: +49 (0)641 99-33310
