[Herwig-announce] Herwig++ 2.2.0 and ThePEG 1.2.0 have been released

Dear Herwig++ and ThePEG users,

we would like to announce the release of Herwig++ 2.2.0 together with 
ThePEG 1.2.0.

The improvements since the last version are too numerous to list here, 
please look at the NEWS file in both the tarballs. The physics changes 
will also be listed in the release note arXiv:0804.3053.

Interface maintainers for experimental software should note

which explains the few changes that are needed to use the new versions.
