[Laura-announce] Laura++ paper on arXiv

Dear Laura++ users,

We are very pleased to announce that a paper on the Laura++ package has today appeared on arXiv:

The paper documents the state of the code in release v3r3, which has been released to accompany it.  With respect to v3r2, this release contains one small bug fix in LauFlatteRes, some improvements to the examples, and a new example that shows how to use the python bindings that are automatically generated when the Laura++ library is compiled: GenFit3pi.py

The paper itself describes the formalisms, conventions and methodologies employed to model the signal and background distributions in the Dalitz plot, including the effects of efficiency and resolution.  The sections on the implementation of each of these components include some suggestions on best practice.  There are then sections on the workflows used to generate toy MC, fit data samples and weight simulated samples, including some of the variations available, the performance of the package and some potential future developments.  There are also a number of appendices that give further details on the formalisms and other features available.

We hope that this will serve as a very useful reference.  We welcome any feedback you may have.
