Dear LHAPDF user, We have decided to make a further release of LHAPDF(V5) - 5.9.1 - because of the demand to have the latest sets from ATLAS in V5. This will be the final release of LHAPDFV5 (!!) and a new and much improved and compatible version of LHAPDF will continue as LHAPDFV6. This release, as well as the new V6, can be downloaded as usual from our website: http://projects.hepforge.org/lhapdf/ or for 5.9.1, directly at: http://www.hepforge.org/archive/lhapdf/lhapdf-5.9.1.tar.gz This sub-version contains the following: ***************************************************** 1) Access to the new ATLAS epWZ12 (NNLO) sets: ATLAS-epWZ12-EIG.LHgrid 65000 - 65030 (1+30 error (+-+-..) sets) ATLAS-epWZ12-VAR-LHgrid 65040 - 65051 (11 variations of various parameters) '0 - central ' 'mb=4.75,mc=1.40,q20=1.9,q2min=7.5,a_s(MZ)=0.1176' 'The 11 variations: ' '1-6 model variations coupled' '7-11 parametrisation to be treated independently' '1: mb=4.5' '2: mb=5.0' '3: q2min=5' '4: q2min=10' '5: q20=1.5' '6: mc=1.55' '7: Dubar' '8: Ddbar' '9: Ddv' '10: Duv' '11: Dg' ***************************************************** For more details of these sets see the descriptions in the .LHgrid files themselves. See the Changlog for deltails of other small fixes. Any problems, as usual send them to lhapdf at projects.hepforge.org As we say, this is the final release of the Fortran version of LHAPDF. It is replaced by a new C++ version (V6...) . This new version addresses many of the inherent problems with V5, such as memory issues, and multiset access version.
