[LHAPDF-announce] New LHAPDF set data for CT14qed, nCTEQ15 and CJ15, CJ12Andy Buckley andy.buckley at cern.chWed Mar 9 17:12:28 GMT 2016
Dear LHAPDF users, We're pleased to announce the availability of LHAPDF6 data for the new CT14qed, nCTEQ15, and CJ15 PDF sets. These are available now from the LHAPDF web page and also from the distributed filesystem locations at /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/lhapdfsets/current/ and /cvmfs/sft.cern.ch/lcg/external/lhapdfsets/current/ An update has also been provided for the CJ12 sets, fixing a crashing bug at low values of Q. The previous versions of these sets are archived in the "deprecated" directory of the LHAPDF website data downloads area. No update of the LHAPDF code library is needed to use these updates, but we recommend that all users upgrade to version 6.1.6 if you have not already done so. Users of the lhapdf script can run an "update & upgrade" to automatically upgrade any superseded data files, and an "install" operation to access the newly available sets. Users of the CVMFS or AFS paths via their LHAPDF_DATA_PATH environment variable will automatically be using the new files. Our thanks to all the PDF authors who have made the effort to provide their fits in the LHAPDF format! Best wishes, The LHAPDF team -- Dr Andy Buckley, Lecturer / Royal Society University Research Fellow Particle Physics Expt Group, University of Glasgow
