[Pythia8-announce] PhD student positions in Lund

Dear Colleagues,

As you probably know, our group in Lund are members of the
MCnet collaboration, that once again obtained EU funding for
a Marie Curie network. This means that we are currently on the
lookout for three PhD students that could join us to work on
event generator development. Leif Lönnblad and myself would be
the main supervisors, but there is room for secondments e.g.
with Peter Skands (Melbourne) and Stefan Prestel (Fermilab).
The positions would be fully funded for up to four years.
As usual with Marie Curie actions we cannot recruit locally,
but must find students who have spent no more than 12 of the
latest 36 months in Sweden, which is one reason for why we
advertise widely.

If you are aware of any good students who might be interested
in moving to Lund, and who find our kind of research attractive,
then please do encourage them to apply. The deadline is end of
next week, so unfortunately there is not so much time left.
Nominal starting date is 1 September, but also later this year
would be acceptable.
