[Rivet] svn acces problem on laptop

I think your svn is weird - the compilation from source sounds a likely 
candidate since I've never encountered a packaged version of svn with 
this behaviour.

SVN's network layer is built on the Apache Portable Runtime and the Neon 
library: in my experience getting these various bits of the build to all 
work can be awkward and you'd be well-advised to use a pre-built 
version. Why build it from source anyway?
