[Rivet] Rivet/AGILe split and other Rivet developmentsAndy Buckley Andy.Buckley at durham.ac.ukTue Nov 27 19:39:25 GMT 2007
Hi everyone, As announced for a while now, RivetGun has been split into two bits: the generator interfaces will be renamed as a stand-alone AGILe package, and the bits actually related to running Rivet on AGILe-generated events are being merged into Rivet. At the moment, the SVN area for AGILe is the same as that used for RivetGun, but that will change in the next couple of days. When it does, you'll need to check out again, or use "svn switch --relocate" (look up the details if you need to at http://svnbook.red-bean.com ) The other side-effect of this is that Rivet is temporarily broken due to clashes in the command line parsing code from rivet and rivetgun. The static version of rivetgun is also gone, since I think we now have the same functionality from the dynamic version and maintaining it was increasingly inappropriate. Any problems, let me know...
