Hi everyone, and merry Christmas! Thanks for all your work on Rivet (&
friends) this year, and I hope you all got what you wanted ;)

I was hoping to put out a Rivet beta on Monday, but unfortunately (along
with most of the IPPP staff) caught Theorist Flu when all the UK HEP
theorists came for their annual three day meeting, and have been largely
bed-ridden since then. Releases usually take forever to get from 99% to
100%, and this has certainly been no exception!

Since I was fortunately feeling a bit better today, and the alternative
was to watch some particularly odious Christmas TV, I just made and
uploaded beta tarballs for AGILe and Rivet: there are still some issues
(notably histo division and Python macros) to be fixed before a full
release, but there are at least tarballs available for any enthusiastic
YETI students/organisers to try out.

I'm off skiing for a week tomorrow and will be back (and enthusiastic once
again!) on 5th Jan. In the meantime, have an excellent New Year and I'll
see you all in either Oxford or Durham in the worryingly near future!

Happy holidays,
Andy
