[Rivet] Binning problems in ALEPH 1996 analysisHendrik Hoeth hendrik.hoeth at cern.chThu Jul 3 10:56:39 BST 2008
Hi, I tried to run the ALEPH_1996_S3486095 analysis which Holger put in svn. When I made comparison plots (MC vs data) I realized that the aida data and MC files have different binnings in tables 25, 26, 27. The problem is that there are holes in the data binning, e.g. between 0.018000 and 0.045000 in table 25. Rivet books a continuous histogram, i.e. it fills the holes such that there are additional bins in MC. I think we should make Rivet stick to the original binning. What's you oppinion?
