[Rivet] installation problems (partially solved?)

I am having a somewhat similar problems today.

I build a fresh version of rivet/agile using slc4_amd64_gcc34 today at UCL and have
pythia seg faulting at the end in what appears to be a related HepMC-2.03.06 problem.
