Okay, I've now updated the script to do this guessing via a regular 
expression rather than assuming that 'cut' can be used in the shell 
call. You can find out whether the guess is working just by calling 
./rivet-bootstrap -h and seeing what the default value is for the 
--lcgtag option (the default is computed dynamically)
