[Rivet] [Professor] Rivet and Professor write-up for Les HouchesHendrik Hoeth hendrik.hoeth at cern.chSun Jan 24 12:24:58 GMT 2010
Hi Andy, Thus spake Andy Buckley (andy.buckley at ed.ac.uk): > I noticed (while providing a separate contribution) that the Les > Houches proceedings had reserved a space for a status report of Rivet > and Professor. So I sat down yesterday and produced the attached > document -- I've just committed the same text into the LH MC tools > proceedings document, but I'm sure there will be comments and > corrections from yourselves. I've committed a minor change regarding the Pythia 8 UE issue to the Professor paper repository, as we don't yet know what the problem is. Other than that I'm very happy with that write-up, thanks a lot!!! > I'm going to be away on holiday for the next week, but if you send your > corrections to the Rivet mailing list then I will collect them on my > return. Or alternatively, Jon (and anyone else with commit access to the > LH proceedings on the UCL HEP SVN server) can merge them instead... I don't know about the UCL server. Did you put the text into two different svn repositories? I only read the version in the Professor repository on Hepforge, and that's where I committed my change. Cheers, Hendrik -- "Two equal numbers are equivalent, even if they come from two different people one of which you don't like" (MLM about the theoretical top cross-section, in a meeting about theoretical uncertainties on the top mass)
