Okay, some UI work needed here to meet these needs, then: it's worth getting this stuff as desired before making a release. If we need a mix of behaviours, then a single command line switch is not going to be enough: the config file will have to contain instructions for what to do to each histo/bin-range, e.g. MY_HIST1:0:5 scale=1.3 MY_HIST2 norm=1.0 MY_HIST3 refnorm ?
