Hendrik, I guess you still have a copy of that patch somewhere? I would
guess that it couldn't be directly patched to a current Fastjet version,
but maybe with a couple of name changes (and dmerge -> ymerge, if I
remember correctly) the two could be used side by side.

I tried that -- at least for the 2->3 inclusive plot it made no
difference to use the _max version of exclusive_ymerge. For the other
transitions I got segfaults -- I guess that when using the ymerge_max(n)
I need to explicitly make sure that n jets can definitely be found in
the event?
