no, as the name says prof-envelopes is a professor command.
But the script says at the end "Use 'make-plots .... and contrib/ 
makegallery.sh'. make-plots  is a rivet script, and the contrib dir
is in professor.

In any case, I would expect that scripts are put into dirs that are  
included in the search path and unmaintained software is better
  not mentioned or mentioned with exactly this information.
