[Rivet] Package Rivet for Debian

That would of course be very welcome from our side!
Rivet's build system should be in good enough shape such that this will 
hopefully not be too much effort for you. In fact, we have made some 
effort a little while back to get most of these packages (plus some 
more, e.g. the Sherpa MC) into deb packages on launchpad:

   https://launchpad.net/~hep/+archive/ppa

(but have recently failed to update them)

So if there is anything that we can do on the upstream side to make 
packaging easier for you then let us know and we'll consider it.
