Hi Anton, Riveters,

Thanks for the infos. I've inlined some comments below. As far as I can 
tell, some of these are intermediate non-hadron particles (reggeon, 
pomeron, ...) and should probably be black-listed together with partons 
etc. at the beginning of UnstableFinalState::project. Some others are 
valid hadrons, and some I don't know.

Can you or Peter identify what 9902210 is? It seems like a strange PDG 
ID, with indefinite spin etc., and I can't make it out from any of the 
classification scheme, so I assume it should be blacklisted?

Pomeron -- should be blacklisted together with reggeon (110), and 
odderon (9990).

Maybe David can confirm for Herwig++, but in Sherpa this would be:
9020221 eta(1405) mass=1.4098GeV width=0.0511GeV
