Only two orders of magnitude of safety? We'd better rewrite the analysis
loader ;)

Is everyone happy with Frank's suggestion (in the form that works, as
clarified by David)?

I suggest that we also introduce a policy that analyses flagged as
OBSOLETE only last for one major version (e.g. if declared as OBSOLETE
in 1.4.x, it will be gone by 1.5.0) -- or something similar.
