I was going to do that, but then I noticed that the config-file feature 
of make-plots is not documented at all yet (in make-plots.txt), so I was 
unsure where to put this. Should we add a new section to make-plots.txt 
or should this go into the "high-level" plotting documentation in the 
manual and Wiki?
