[Rivet] Release 1.5.0 statusHendrik Hoeth hendrik.hoeth at cern.chTue Mar 1 18:15:50 GMT 2011
Thus spake Andy Buckley (andy.buckley at ed.ac.uk): > I've personally done all the things I want, other than adding a > --no-titles flag to compare-histos... and because *I* want that I'll > do it tonight. Maybe --no-plottitles, to distinguish from histogram titles? > Any extra "Anton fixes" remaining on your list, Hendrik? Looking at my inbox I see that Date: Thu, 9 Dec 2010 22:55:04 +0100 From: Anton Karneyeu <Anton.Karneyeu at cern.ch> Subject: [Rivet] [rivet] UA5_1982_S875503 -> Running UA5_1982_S875503 at 53 GeV pp segfaults. and Date: Thu, 9 Dec 2010 22:40:24 +0100 From: Anton Karneyeu <Anton.Karneyeu at cern.ch> Subject: [Rivet] [rivet] UA1_1990_S2044935 -> For 63 GeV beam energy Rivet terminates with segfault -> for 900 GeV one of the generated histograms (d05-x01-y01) have 'nan' as content of all bins are still unresolved. Details are in his mails. I'd appreciate if someone else could look into this. I'm busy merging Sherpa branches that haven't been merged in 1.5 years. :-( > We need some more systematic checking for a release, though: Hendrik, > can you / have you run the validation jobs? I could do that for the small subset of analyses for which I have a setup, but I think it would make much more sense to create a tarball, give it to Anton (or Stefan Prestel) and ask them to run their mcplots machinery. Their setup is much more complete than ours. Cheers, Hendrik -- It pays to be obvious, especially if you have a reputation for subtlety. -- Isaac Asimov
