[Rivet] Rivet 1.5.0Stefan Prestel stefan.prestel at thep.lu.seMon Mar 7 15:37:20 GMT 2011
Hi all, I just discovered two problems I have with the ALICE_2010_S8625980 analysis in the 1.5.0 release that did not show in 1.4.0. First, in the documentation of Rivet 1.5.0 (analyses.html), there is some inconsistency in the center-of-mass energies used (I just paste the text): Beam energies: (0.5, 0.5); (1.2, 1.2); (3.5, 3.5)GeV Run details: * Diffractive events need to be switched on on addition to QCD. This is an ALICE publication with pseudorapities for $\unit{0.9, 2.36 and 7}{\TeV}$ and the charged multiplicity at $\unit{7}{\TeV}$. The analysis requires at least on charged particle in the event. Only the INEL distributions are considered here Second, when the analysis is run with any of the energies 900, 2360 and 7000, it gives the error Rivet.Analysis.Handler: WARN Analysis 'ALICE_2010_S8625980' is incompatible with the provided beams: removing and seg faults ./runRivet.sh: line 114: 25323 Segmentation fault $rivetExecString where rivetExecString = rivet -a ALICE_2010_S8624100 -a ALICE_2010_S8625980 -a ALICE_2010_S8706239 -a ATLAS_2010_S8591806 -a ATLAS_2010_S8918562 -H /tmp/prestel/tmp.nURpS24628/generator.aida /tmp/prestel/tmp.nURpS24628/generator.hepmc Am I doing something stupid? Cheers, Stefan
