Hi,

after reading your answers I got the feeling the experimentalists
believe this will be the last Rivet release ever to be published.
Let me tell you this:

Don't be afraid, this is NOT the case!

Having said that, I'd also like to add that with LHC operating it is not
unlikely that we will continue to see a continuous stream of new
analyses popping up on the horizon. If we wait for "just the next one"
every time, 1.5.1 will indeed be the last Rivet release ever. I don't
want that, you don't want that.

Therefore I suggest to release now. If experiments want their stuff in
Rivet, they are always very welcome to send us their code and data. It
will go into the repository and be part of the next release.

Cheers,

    Hendrik

The minimum number of planes one should own is one. The correct number
is n+1, where n is the number of planes currently owned. This equation
may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of planes owned
that would result in separation from your partner. -- Veluminati
