[Rivet] Help at LHCb Rivet tutorial, at CERN on 24th May?Hendrik Hoeth hendrik.hoeth at cern.chFri May 13 10:57:43 BST 2011
Hi Andy, Thus spake Andy Buckley (andy.buckley at ed.ac.uk): > I've had a request from LHCb to run a Rivet tutorial for them at > their analysis week this month -- they have suggested doing it on > 24th May, which is just about ok with me. [...] > Some assistance would be useful, though, so that we can run the > tutorial in as smooth and hands-on a way as possible. That date is a bit awkward. I have to be in Durham on 28/29 May and fly to Geneva on 30 May to go to Les Houches, so the 24th would be a whole return trip to Geneva -- and Easyjet doesn't fly in summer. > PS. I hope that I will have to update the slides to point at Rivet > 1.5.1 rather than 1.5.0 ... what's the situation with that, Hendrik? It's on its way to Anton. Cheers, Hendrik -- The minimum number of planes one should own is one. The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of planes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of planes owned that would result in separation from your partner. -- Veluminati
