[Rivet] Opal quark/gluon jet ShapesStefan Prestel stefan.prestel at thep.lu.seThu May 26 11:41:53 BST 2011
Hi all, We were wondering if there is a plan to include the OPAL quark/gluon jet shape measurements [OPAL ZPC 68 (1995),179 or HepData, http://hepdata.cedar.ac.uk/View/3164284] in a future Rivet release. As Peter said below, the measurement is highly interesting on it's own, to check different Monte Carlo models. But it is also great as a LEP pendant to hadron collider jet shape measurements. So it would be really great if we could have the OPAL measurements on mcplots, for which we would need the analysis in Rivet. Is there any strong reason (apart from manpower, I guess) why the measurement is not in Rivet?
