Although I agree that it is not the responsibility of Rivet to have a print function for HepMC, I imagine that it could be a good thing to have print functions for the different projections in Rivet. This would, of course, only be used for debugging purposes. So I think Hannes has a point, in that someone who is new to Rivet, trying to implement an analysis, might find it useful to be able to debug their code using printouts of the projections (and one of the "projections" is in principle the HepMC object itself). On the other hand we have managed without these so far, and I haven't heard any requests for this feature before... Cheers, Leif
