[Rivet] histograms in RivetHannes Jung hannes.jung at cern.chThu Aug 30 23:01:21 BST 2012
Dear Rivet developers normally we want to have histograms which are normalized to the xsection and to bin-width, I guess this is the how the Rivet histograms are available on the aida output, after they have been normalized with the normalize command. Now, I wanted a histogram, which is not normalized to bin-width, but just then plain histogram with number of entries, or with some normalization factor. I thought, if I do not call the "normalize" procedure at the end, the histos would not be normalized to bin widths, but it seems they still are. Is this correct ? And if yes, is there a easy way to obtain a histo without normalization to bin width ? Sorry for always asking for special issues... Thanks a lot cheers Hannes *********************************************************************** Hannes Jung Email: Hannes.Jung at desy.de<mailto:Hannes.Jung at desy.de> mobile :+49 40 8998 93741 http://www.desy.de/~jung Tel: +49 (0) 40 8998 3741 Fax: +49 (0) 40 8998 3093 DESY, CMS 01B/02.213 Notkestr.85, 22603 Hamburg, FRG *********************************************************************** -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
