[Rivet] python in rivet 1.8.1

Hi Mikhail,

I see a similar behaviour as Andy. On our SL5 machines with Python 2.4.3
"import dl" works absolutely fine (ctype failes, BTW, so the dl fallback
is used), and I've installed Rivet on them many times, so I have no idea
what went wrong in your case.
