[Rivet] python in rivet 1.8.1Hendrik Hoeth hendrik.hoeth at cern.chMon Jul 9 22:14:22 BST 2012
Erm, I just noticed ... Thus spake Mikhail KIRSANOV (Mikhail.Kirsanov at cern.ch): > PYTHONPATH=../pyext: \ > /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/Python/2.6.5/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt/bin/python ^^^^^ Didn't you say you used 2.4.3? When I login on lxplus, the default python is 2.4.3. If I then launch /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/Python/2.6.5/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt/bin/python without setting any paths for it, python indeed fails to load the dl module, which is no surprise, because the paths points to the 2.4.3 module directory, and that's not compatible. So my suspicion is that you didn't setup your environment properly, but mixed versions. Cheers, Hendrik -- Journalist: "Can you explain 5 sigma as 99.999something percent?" Fabiola G.: "Sure, that's 3*10^-7." (after the CERN Higgs seminar, 4 July 2012)
