[Rivet] Run Dijet decorrelations analysisHendrik Hoeth hendrik.hoeth at cern.chThu Nov 8 18:35:09 GMT 2012
Hi Elena, I hope you notice that this is more a Pythia question than a Rivet question. Anyway ... that analysis requires one jet above 110 GeV, and with your setup you are generating minbias events. That's why they don't pass the cuts -- they are way too soft. What you want to do is agile-runmc Pythia6:425 --beams=LHC:7000 -p "MSTJ(22)=2" -p "CKIN(3)=85" -n 100000 -o /tmp/$USER/hepmc.fifo If you want to fill the higher pT plots, too, you can increase the CKIN(3) value. But make sure to stay about ~30 GeV below the analysis cut value, i.e. for the plots about 310 GeV you can use a CKIN(3) of 280. Cheers, Hendrik -- If your dreams don't scare you, then you are not dreaming big enough.
