[Rivet] Rivet dev sprint session

Hi all,

thanks for the feedback. I've added a first draft to the doc/
directory using the same text sources as the manual. You can build it
with "make paper.pdf" in that directory. Did I forget anybody on the
author list who is still active in development/steering (this is based
on the Manual one)?

If there are no objections, I'd suggest we all take a look at what we
consider further action items to make this acceptable for a journal
and post those as tickets to the "Documentation" component on the
tracker (or fix them right away if it's simple and needs no
discussion). That way we can book-keep and assign them easily later
on.
