Hi Sercan, I don't know anything about that Phojet_1.12-HepMC package, but if it's producing events without properly identified beam particles then Rivet will indeed refuse to process them. The solution is to get the generator fixed, I'm afraid: you could contact Genser about that or make a personal modification to the code. Alternatively you could use the AGILe interface to PHOJET. I've not used this myself, but it was provided by an ATLAS member who was doing Rivet-based studies and I believe should be able to pick up the Genser PHOJET libraries and produce events which can be used by Rivet. Please let us know if you have trouble with that. However, the beam particles are not (correctly) stored and Rivet does not read the file. > > Any suggestion would be welcome. > > Thanks, > Sercan > _______________________________________________ > Rivet mailing list > Rivet at projects.hepforge.org > http://www.hepforge.org/lists/listinfo/rivet > -- Dr Andy Buckley, SUPA Advanced Research Fellow Particle Physics Expt Group, University of Edinburgh The University of Edinburgh is a charitable body, registered in Scotland, with registration number SC005336.
