Hi Sunil,

How large is "large"?

My workflow was

1) aida2flat data.aida > data.dat
2) delete last digit of xmin
3) delete xmax column except for the last value of the histogram
4) copy xmin colum starting from second bin and paste it into xmax
   starting at the first bin
5) flat2aida data.dat

Steps 1 and 5 are constant in time. Steps 2 to 4 take a maximum of 10
seconds per histogram if you know how to highlight columns in your text
editor. Not too bad, I think. And if you really have *lots* of
histograms, you can even script your editor.

Overall, I'd say the total time effort for an arbitrary number of
histograms is less than the time I needed to write this mail. If you
struggle with it, send me your file.

Cheers,

    Hendrik
