Absolutely!

That bit doesn't work *yet* in Rivet 2, but I have a plan (which I
should send around) for how to handle this, multi-weights and
merging/re-entering the event loop/finalize all in one. My guess is that
the core structure is not so different from what you've done, but YODA
is needed for anything "mergey". This is something I'd like to get
working over the summer, maybe starting during our meeting: I'll have a
summer student to partially work on implementing/testing, and Peter S
has another whose project involves using this in mcplots.
