[Rivet] Rivet 1.8.4 nearly ready / OS X Mavericks

Hi all,

I just spent a couple of days tidying and merging the queue of submitted
analyses on to the Rivet AIDA branch and once a few things have been
clarified I think we can release 1.8.4 (modulo that I am just trusting
that the official in-experiment validation has been sufficient: I have
not explicitly tested any of them).

One thing occurs to me which we should test before releasing: making
sure that the AIDA branch is compatible with OS X Mavericks. David, you
already did some minor fixing: did that include the AIDA branch or just
the 2.0.0 release? If the latter, could you run a quick test build of
the AIDA branch on Mavericks and make whatever mini-patch is needed?
