Ok, thanks. In anticipation of it being ok'd I will merge it into the
AIDA branch today/tomorrow. I made a 1.9.0.a0 tarball last night and
Dima is running a build test in Genser already.

No, I think they are unrelated. I got similar messages a while ago when
using an hg repo that David G had put in his home directory: maybe a
permissions issue, David?
