Hi Ines, Yes, you can do it, but you'll need to do all the ROOT object setup and writing yourself -- it should be possible to do this in a mix of the constructor, init, analyze and finalize methods. Since you're running in Athena, are you sure that your Rivet analysis was built against the same ROOT version as ATLAS is using?
