[Rivet] help for lxplusHannes Jung hannes.jung at cern.chMon Jun 30 10:07:39 BST 2014
Hi Holger, thanks a lot for your fast response. Unfortunately, it did not fully help. I got then another error: [jung at lxplus0077]~/work/public/rivet-new/local% rivet --list-analyses rivet requires the 'rivet' Python module but it cannot be loaded: /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/contrib/gcc/4.3.6/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt/lib64/libstdc++.so.6:<http://cern.ch/sw/lcg/contrib/gcc/4.3.6/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt/lib64/libstdc++.so.6:> version `GLIBCXX_3.4.11' not found (required by /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/HepMC/2.06.06/x86_64-slc6-gcc46-opt/lib/libHepMC.so.4<http://cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/HepMC/2.06.06/x86_64-slc6-gcc46-opt/lib/libHepMC.so.4>) Try re-running with the -v switch to enable more debugging output Someheow it seems that different versions are used ..... is there an easy way to set those in the lcg tag ? Adding the following to my submission scripts made the GLIB error disappear: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/afs/.cern.ch/sw/lcg/contrib/gcc/4.3.6/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt/lib64/:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH<http://cern.ch/sw/lcg/contrib/gcc/4.3.6/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt/lib64/:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH> Not sure if it helps, but you might want to give it a try.
