I still wouldn't dismiss it outright. It really depends what detector
corrections your specific observable is sensitive to. Also, in that case
where you _are_ extremely sensitive to detector features, a fastsim
result will need to be validated very carefully, too. Otherwise, you've
just traded one inacurracy (Truth vs. Detector) for another one (Fastsim
vs. Detector).

In such a sensitive search I certainly wouldn't trust a fastsim result
blindly either.
