[Rivet] colon character in info fileAndy Buckley andy.buckley at cern.chWed May 11 10:39:48 BST 2016
Hi Christian, This is because "A: B" is the YAML syntax for a dictionary/map entry. If you wrap the whole thing in quotes, e.g. "A: B" then it's treated as a string. I fix these things before Rivet releases, since they make the manual/HTML building fail ;-) Andy On 11/05/16 10:26, Christian Gütschow wrote: > Hi all, > > occasionally, I put a "NB: …" into the description of the info file, but > it was just pointed out to me that e.g. using --show-analysis > ATLAS_2015_I1390114, it complains about the NB: comment in the > description, probably because the colon character is reserved for > parsing the .info file?
