[Rivet] turn off "Event beams mismatch error"Yang Ting Chien ytchien at mit.eduTue Jun 13 21:21:56 BST 2017
Dear Rivet authors, I am starting to use Rivet to analyze some hepmc files I generated using jewel, a heavy ion collision generator. Since protons and neutrons are both present in a heavy nuclei, I have beams of protons and neutrons present in the hepmc event file. However, rivet detects the beam mismatch and gives the following error message and exits: Event beams mismatch: [PROTON, NEUTRON] @ 5020 GeV vs. first beams [PROTON @ (2510; 0, 0, 2510) GeV, PROTON @ (2510; 0, 0, -2510) GeV] @ 5020 GeV I couldn't find a way to successfully ask rivet to skip this beam check. Could you help me resolve this issue? I attached an analysis I will extend to include jet substructure studies.
