[Rivet] Release 2.5.4 and next steps

Hi all,

As you'll have seen, Holger and I released Rivet 2.5.4 a couple of days ago.

At Les Houches, David G and I have done some long-planned work to
simplify analysis integration: the analysis code and data files are now
contained in the same "source" directories, these have been moved from
src/Analyses to Analyses/plugin*/ (capitalisation and names might
change!), and rivet-buildplugin is used to do the building so that
"official" plugin libraries are technically identical to user-created
ones. rivet-buildplugin is also now parallelised in a clever way that
*almost* perfectly integrates with make.

The result of all this moving around is that we no longer have to edit
Makefile.ams to add new analyses to the Rivet build. But since source
files have moved, merges of changes to equivalent files in different
locations could go horribly wrong: *we should stop using the release-2-5
branch NOW*!

So let's make that concrete: I propose that I close that branch and we
switch to using the default branch for any development toward the next
release, which will be 2.6.0. Ok?

Good to have things moving again :-)
Andy

NB: care will be needed with merging the multiweight branch. David,
Chris, can you handle that as you think best?
