[Rivet] Inquiry about RivetJerry Dormans jerry.dormans at physik.uni-freiburg.deMon Jan 15 12:23:04 GMT 2018
Dear Rivet authors, As part of the BlackHat collaboration and with a current extension that aims at the computation of two-loop amplitudes, I'm interested in employing the Rivet toolkit as an analysis framework. In that regard, there are two specific questions that I have on the current (or future) release of Rivet: 1) Do you expect to produce a python3 interface at some point? This is rather important, as I work on a framework based on python3. 2) I have been told, in conversations with Daniel Maitre and Stefan Hoeche, that a Rivet extension which can properly handle NLO Ntuple files (to produce correct real-radiation estimations of statistical uncertainties in computed observables) was in the making. Nevertheless, I do not find such feature in Rivet 2.6.0. Are you planning to release this anytime soon? Thanks a lot for your attention and help. Sincerely, Jerry Dormans
