[Herwig-announce] ThePEG 1.8.2 and Herwig++ 2.6.2 have been released

Dear Herwig++ and ThePEG users,

we would like to announce the maintenance release of Herwig++ 2.6.2
together with ThePEG 1.8.2.


The main improvements are:

 * fixes for the PDF and scale choices in POWHEG events, which should
solve reported anomalies in POWHEG jet rates, and

 * the possibility of including branching ratio factors in the reported
cross-section.


All the bug fixes and improvements since the last version are listed
in the NEWS files in both the tarballs.
