[LHAPDF-announce] LHAPDF V5.7.0 releasedMike Whalley M.R.Whalley at durham.ac.ukTue Feb 17 10:43:56 GMT 2009
Dear LHAPDF user, We are pleased to announce the release of version 5.7.0 of LHAPDF. This can be downloaded as usual from our website: http://projects.hepforge.org/lhapdf/ or directly at: http://www.hepforge.org/archive/lhapdf/lhapdf-5.7.0.tar.gz ====================================================================== This release contains the MSTW2008 (lo,nlo and nnlo) sets It also has several bug fixes and improvements since the last release, including a renumbering of the NNPDF10 sets in the lhaglue interface. These can be viewed in the ChangeLog on the lhapadf web site: http://projects.hepforge.org/lhapdf/ChangeLog ====================================================================== MSTW2008: ========== This is the latest from MSTW with central values plus 40 eigenvalue sets for LO, NLO and NNLO with 68% and 90% confidence limits. The files are (lhaglue numbers): Central value sets: MSTW2008lo68cl.LHgrid (21000) MSTW2008nlo68cl.LHgrid (21100) MSTW2008nnlo68cl.LHgrid (21200) Eigenvalue sets (+-+-+-...) MSTW2008lo68cl.LHgrid (21001-21040) MSTW2008lo90cl.LHgrid (21041-21080) MSTW2008nlo68cl.LHgrid (21101-21140) MSTW2008nlo90cl.LHgrid (21141-21180) MSTW2008nlo68cl.LHgrid (21201-21240) MSTW2008nlo90cl.LHgrid (21241-21280) NNPDF01 ======= In the previous release (5.6.0) there was a slight problem in the original numbering of the NNPDF10 sets ... this is now corrected and is: NNPDF10_100.LHpdf (central+100 members) (90000-90100) NNPDF10_1000.LHpdf (central+1000 members) (91000-92000) NNPDF10_100.LHgrid - (central+100 members) (90200-90300) NNPDF10_1000.LHgrid -(central+1000 members)(93000-94000) Beware: the NNPDF10_xxx.LHpdf exact evolution sets run extremely slowly and are not suitable for use in MC programmes which should use the .LHgrid sets. They were used to produce the interpolation grid sets. Note also that the NNPDF10_1000.LHgrid is not distributed in the download tarball because of its size. It is available separately from the LHAPDF website at http://projects.hepforge.org/lhapdf/extras ======================================================================== Any problems, as usual send them to lhapdf at projects.hepforge.org Best regards, Mike Whalley and Andy Buckley IPPP Durham University, UK
