[LHAPDF-announce] LHAPDF V5.8.1 released

Dear LHAPDF user,

We are pleased to announce the release of version 5.8.1 of LHAPDF.  This
can be downloaded as usual from our website:

or directly at:

http://www.hepforge.org/archive/lhapdf/lhapdf-5.8.1.tar.gz

This sub-version contains two new things ...

1) The latest HERAPDF sets (HERAPDF version 1.0)

The files are  HERAPDF10_EIG.LHgrid
          and  HERAPDF10_VAR.LHgrid

The first is the central plus 10 pairs of +- eigenvalue sets
representing the experimental errors.

The second is the central plus 16 model and parametrisation variations.


2) An lhapdf interface for the progamme 'octave' courtesy of Philip Ilten

Look in the /octave directory for an example of its use.
Like many features this can be disabled at configuration with
--disable-octave.
Try configure --help to see the full range of options.
