Dear LHAPDF user,

We are pleased to announce the release of version 5.8.3 of LHAPDF. This
can be downloaded as usual from our website:

http://projects.hepforge.org/lhapdf/

or directly at:

http://www.hepforge.org/archive/lhapdf/lhapdf-5.8.3.tar.gz

======================================================================

This sub-version contains several new PDF sets.....

HERAPDF10_ALPHAS.LHgrid
PDFs from HERAPDF at different alphas values from 0.114 to 0.122 in

steps of 0.001. Also sets at 0.1156, 0.1176( the default) and
   0.1196 (set numbers respectively 60550-60561)

NNPDF20_as_0.114.LHgrid
to
NNPDF20_as_0.124.LHgrid
PDFs from NNPDF at different alphas values from 0.114 to 0.124 in
steps of 0.001. (set numbers 90901-90910)

Plus several bug fixes:

We have split cteq66a.LHgrid into separate files
cteq66a0.LHgrid
cteq66a1.LHgrid
cteq66a2.LHgrid
cteq66a3.LHgrid
corresponding to alphas values 0.125,0.122,0.114,0.112
These have the same pdf set numbers as in the original cteq66a set.
(The original cteq66a files gave erroneous pdf values due to
the q**2 grid values changing for different alphas sets)

cteq4 and cteq5 sets now report correct alphas values.

gjr and jr sets now report correct lambdaqcd4 and 5 values.

A full list of changes can be seen in the ChangeLog on the LHAPDF web page.

Any problems, as usual send them to lhapdf at projects.hepforge.org
