[Rivet] interesting study of herwig++ using rivetJonathan Butterworth jmb at hep.ucl.ac.ukThu Apr 23 10:01:29 BST 2009
Dear all, I attach for interest a project report from Anjum Sayed, a UCL undergrad. He used rivet to compare herwig++ to the CDF underlying event data including the new Drell-Yan. It's actually good enough work that there it is probably worth having a look at, I think he's has done a bit more with Herwig++ that either Andy/Hendrich or Manuel did (at least, further than any work I have seen from you all). If nothing else, it might be a useful guide for starting a full professor tune. Also the fact that he was able to get so far with rivet is a feather in our caps, I think.
