Yes, I thought of mentioning this but want to keep that beam info stuff for a future release: it's a nice API feature to improve, but unless I get bored enough to do it before release I think it should wait, rather than delay 1.2.0. > Do you remember, and do you think it's something we want (i.e. that is > feasible) for this release already? Thanks... it's essentially cosmetic, but as with other such things, might allow deletion/fumigation of some rather smelly internal code.
